what we collect

• Your email address, if you join the founding list.
• An optional “who is it for” choice (for me, my household, a gift, just curious).
• A consent record: when you agreed, the exact wording you saw (“Email me about quiet soap's launch and occasional news. Unsubscribe anytime.”), and which version of this policy was live.
• Generic campaign tags from the link you used (for example, which site sent you), and your country from our network provider.
• Anonymous site events (page views, button clicks, form submits) tied to a random ID in a first-party cookie, never to your email unless you sign up on the same device. We honor Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control: if either is on, our script sends nothing.

what we don’t collect

We never ask about, or store, health information, including skin conditions or allergies. We don’t store full IP addresses or browser fingerprints. We use no advertising pixels.

cookies

One first-party cookie, qs_v, holds a random ID and which design of the home page you were shown, so you see the same one on each visit. It expires after 30 days. Visitors in the EU, EEA, UK and Switzerland don’t get this cookie.

services we use

Cloudflare (hosting, bot protection with Turnstile, cookieless Web Analytics) and an email delivery provider to send our emails. We don’t sell or share your personal data.
